Well, as we head into longer days and the start of new season fruits and vegetables, the Dumplings have been busy with our popular plated buffets.  Debbie's home-made pork pies would certainly have won an award for their spectacular size alone.  Our home-baked hams and roast peaches have also gone down a treat along with my special game terrines!   Although rugby season is over, the club has been busy with bookings for silver weddings, 40th and 60th birthdays and some christenings.  This month's Theme Night is Antipodean Night and is proving popular with our members, even if no one (including us) quite knows what is on the menu for that one!   Dumplings are taking their Theme Night on tour again this year to Eassie hall - where they will be creating the ambiance of a small Parisienne Bistro for a sell out French Night.  Our Greek night at ther end of June will have a real authentic ring to it as we will have just returned from the Greek Island of Symi - no doubt laden with some local produce, including perhaps a deadly bottle or two of raki!  Come along and help us to relive our holiday memories - I can almost hear the sound of a distant bazouki playing......
